Born in Houston, TX, and raised in Southwest Arkansas I spent my younger years pond and creek hopping every chance I had. A Bass Pro Shop fly rod and tying kit around the age of fourteen took my passion for fishing to another level. I've spent every spare minute since figuring out how to get every fish I encounter to eat a fly.
College brought me to the northern portion of the state allowing me to stumble on one of the premier trout fishing destinations in the country. A career in sales didn't allow for enough water time, so, after twelve years I traded my suits for a set of oars and never looked back. From novice to trout bum, I love having the opportunity to show off our amazing fishery on a regular basis.
