The Brainchild of the owner, Brock Dixon, North Arkansas Troutfitters strives to be the hardest working, most passionate fly fishing guide in Arkansas.
Growing up in the Piney Woods of East Texas, Brock spent a lot of his time casting to bucket mouth bass in the famous trophy reservoirs of the area. Eventually, he learned that a fly rod is actually a great way to deliver food to a fish, and found that Arkansas may be the best trout destination in the U.S. It offers everything: numbers of fish, true trophy Brown Trout, and an awesome place to call home.
Brock began guiding the White and Norfork Rivers back in 2010 and has since guided at Bristol Bay Lodge in Alaska, returning to the waters of Arkansas in order to show people how awesome it truly is. He loves taking beginners in his boat and helping transform them into fly fishermen (or women), as the White River is a forgiving river for novice fly anglers. If you are an experienced fly fisherman, get ready for a bag of tricks a country mile long. From winter streamer fishing to spring Caddis and Mayflies, and the local favorite, summer hopper fishing, Brock has it dialed in.
